15 Day Book Blogger Challenge: Day 1

Hey guys! So today I was scrolling through some of the blogs I read when I saw the 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge. I decided that some of you guys might be interested so I decided to do it. It sounds like fun. Here it is:

15 Day Book Blogger Challenge | Good Books And Good Wine

So today is 15 book related confessions.

1.) I hate books that have to do with the main characters cheating. It will instantly get 2 stars. If a minor character is cheating then I don't really care.

2.) My books need to be in pristine condition if I buy them. I sort through all the books on the shelf looking for the one in perfect condition. I hate dog-earing.

3.) I'm really lazy about writing reviews. I have about 10 books I have to review right now, but I will get there eventually. I PROMISE!!

4.) My mother does not approve of my reading addiction. She yells at me every time I read. She says that she wouldn't yell at me if I read non-fiction but we both know that's not going to happen.

5.) Twilight is the book that really made me love to read, but I have always enjoyed it. I LOVE those books with a burning passion. I say loud and proud! For all those people who hate me for that,  don't slam my books and I won't slam yours.

6.) Most my friends don't read. They actually despise it, but they always buy me books and B&N gift cards for my birthday. I love you guys!!

7.) I'm pretty sure I will pass out when I meet Stephanie Meyer or Cassandra Clare one day. They are my writing idols!!

8.) I have the Twilight Saga and the Harry Potter series on the same shelf...I've gotten a lot of hate for that.

9.) When I envision my characters they never have faces. They just have skin, unless I have seen the movie first then I see the faces.

10.) I refuse to go see the City of Bones movie this August because I hate the casting and the movie is going to be nowhere near as good as the book.

11.) I will read cliches because they are fun to read. I will never give them a 5 out of 5 stars but I 4 definitely. Cliches are cliches for a reason.

12.) I used to read the last page of the book then start from the beginning but then I started reading books with cliffhangers...#epicfail.

13.) I judge books on their covers. I don't like to read books with ugly covers because there are more than enough good books out there with beautiful covers.

14.) I am really obsessed with how my bookshelves look. I have to get it just perfect or I go crazy.

15.) I have a dream that I will marry the perfect guy and he will be so perfect that he will let me have my own room for which I can have a library in. He doesn't even have to like reading, as long as he lets me read.

That was actually I lot trickier than I would have thought.

What are your book confessions??

P.S. The Bloggy Awards have started and I would love it if you guys would nominate me!! No pressure though. Click here for more information.

    1. Thanks!! Writing reviews is fun but it is a bit time consuming.

That's exactly what I try to tel my mother but she says that too much of anything isn't good, except veggies.

The face thing is creepy but true.

    1. Thanks. Great blog!! I totally agree with the TBR thing. Life needs to be longer, or the afterlife better have books.

  6. I think there's definitely guys out there who are okay with a room specifically dedicated to books. I know my boyfriend is.

    Also!

I hope you get to meet Cassie Clare and Stephanie Meyers some day.

It's awesome that your friends still support your reading even though they aren't into it.

    1. Hopefully I find an awesome guy like your boyfriend. All my past boyfriends hated to read.

If I meet Cassie and Stephanie I will die happy, nothing will ruin my life after that.

My friends are totally awesome and I love them so much!! Life would be nothing without friends. <3

  7. I had a hard time coming up with fifteen things too. I love your last one...I don't need him to be obsessed like I am, but it would be nice if he just let me be me. Sounds like you have great friends! Great list!

  8. I also have Twilight and Harry Potter on the same shelf. And I found my man from #15, I have a room with all of my books and he has offered to buy me as many bookcases that will make me happy. Slowly I am turning it into a library. :)

    Great list!

  9. I love #15. We have a small spare bedroom that houses books but I wouldn't call it a library. My brother-in-law lives in the basement when he's not away at college. One day he's going to get his own place and I'm eyeing it for a library.

    Rather Be Reading YA
