Anywhoooo, I have 2 releases for this week. I know you guys are probably wondering why I don't have more, but I have more next week, a LOT more.
The first book coming out next week is one that many bloggers/readers are very excited about. I am included. The book is Taken by Erin Bowman!
Release Date: April 16, 2013
Publisher: HarperTeen
Number of Pages: 352
Synopsis:
"There are no men in Claysoot. There are boys—but every one of them vanishes at midnight on his eighteenth birthday. The ground shakes, the wind howls, a blinding light descends…and he’s gone.
They call it the Heist.
Gray Weathersby’s eighteenth birthday is mere months away, and he’s prepared to meet his fate–until he finds a strange note from his mother and starts to question everything he’s been raised to accept: the Council leaders and their obvious secrets. The Heist itself. And what lies beyond the Wall that surrounds Claysoot–a structure that no one can cross and survive.
Climbing the Wall is suicide, but what comes after the Heist could be worse. Should he sit back and wait to be taken–or risk everything on the hope of the other side?"
I love the cover for this book, and am so excited for this. I have heard so many good things!
The second book coming out is the third book in the series. It is The Grass Is Always Greener by Jen Calonita!
Publisher: Poppy
Number of Pages: 304
Synopsis:
"How many secrets can one family keep?
Amid preparations for Emerald Cove's extravagant Founders Day celebration and their own shared sweet sixteen, Isabelle Scott and Mirabelle Monroe are longing to break free from the tight constraints that come with being the daughters of a prominent public figure. When Izzie's estranged aunt, Zoe, breezes into town, the already uneasy family dynamic is turned on its head.
Izzie's finally found her footing in Emerald Cove by leading the Social Butterflies, her school's prestigious club, and she has no interest in getting to know yet another long-lost family member. But Mira, who's on a mission to try new things and make new friends, is drawn to Izzie's artsy aunt. And when Mira meets a handsome, brooding painter, her entire perspective on life begins to shift.
As tensions mount in Emerald Cove, Zoe's laid-back attitude appeals to both girls. But when she offers Izzie the chance of a lifetime, it's time to make a tough decision. What's more important: family or freedom?"
Love, love, LOVE the cover for this. I loved the first two books in this series and I cant't wait for this one. This is definitely one I will put my hands on the minute I get it.
What are you guys excited for? Also, if you have any suggestions for the new layout, or if you are having problems with anything then just comment!
Have a great day!
